June was quite a fun month.
I was very busy with my work, music, and passing my driver's education exam. Once I start the next part of driver's education, which is actually learning to drive a car, I'll make sure to post a couple of pictures of that here as well! I'm excited for that, it should be later this week!
Also, I know I'm about to get my driver's license, I think I still prefer the bicycle. One of my future blogs is going to have to be about the places that I've visited on my bike. So far, it was just a bunch of places around my city, but it's fun getting around like that. I can't remember the last time I ate so much fast food (I don't recommend it) in further parts of my city.
The most fun I've had in June, however, is when I traveled to the Romanian city of Timisoara.
The reason that I went there is because Timisoara is the 2023 European Capital of Culture. That means that it's going to be full of music, theater shows, activities, museum, and a bunch of other fun stuff. I'm going to show you a bit of this beautiful city in this blog. Oh! Also, I'm going to have a music show there in October. I'm super excited for that.
Anyways, here's me in Timisoara!
Yes, I know my hair is awful. It was windy.
This picture was taken from some sort of a tower they built in the middle of the city. It's made fully out of metal, and it swung due to the wind, which made it quite scary to climb.
That's the tower!
Behind me, in the first picture, you can see a church. It's a very cool looking church, and I wish I took some more pictures of it. You have no idea how quickly I learned that I need to take more pictures when I started this blog! 😅
This is a picture of the church I found on google. Next time, I'm taking a picture of myself in front of it!
After a brief visit to the church, we went to eat. The food in the city was suuuuuuper expensive, but it was nice. This is what I had:
A very small, and not that tasty, $12 ice cream. 12 dollars!? 🙃 Too much.
A fancy looking, and actually quite a good tasting burger. It was cheaper than the ice cream, believe it or not.
Finally, to end the day, I visited the place that I'm supposed to have the show at. It's looks so much cooler in person - it's a massive and awesome looking building.
I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about performing there. 😊
As an extra, here's another awesome thing I did. I got to help a beautiful local band record their music video. I was a technician, helping them with lighting and stuff. One of the reasons that I did that is because, hopefully, I'll be recording stuff with my band as well, and I wanted to learn how it all works! P.S. It's awesome.
Light technicians don't have a lot of work if the place is naturally incredibly lit up, as you can see. You can see the other technician on the other side, on his phone! 😅
Well, that's it for now.
One thing that I learned, definitely, is that I need to take more pictures and videos of myself if I want to keep this blog going. Even these pictures took my like 3 hours to find...
I hope you enjoyed it!
Next time, I'll show you around the city on my bike. Or maybe the recording of our first song. That was fun too.
See you next time! ^^
